Sadie Jane

Sadie is now entering my very favorite stage. I love each of them; all the cuddling at the very beginning, the giggling that comes next, the speed crawling, the loving dad more than mom then back again, and the now. She is so happy and funny. She loves to put anything she can find on, this gives me some fear with her teenage years, but we have some time. She loves to give kisses, and begins by pressing her little lips together and saying, "mmmmmmmm...ma" right when she plants one on you. She adores Ruthie and no one can make her laugh more. She will follow her all around just laughing and loving life. She is an incredible dancer and loves music. She brings so much joy to each of my days. She knows right when I need a little snuggle and is never shy about giving it. In an age when you would think it impossible to even know how to think about others, she does. She always shares with her sister and gives her mom and dad loves. She is divine and a true gift to our home. We love you little Sadie, just stay this way forever!!

We had a great Halloween this year. Picking the pumpkins was my favorite. Ruth would run to a pumpkin and shout, "I found the right one!" Then she would turn it over and yell, "Nevermind!" This process went on for a good ten minutes. Then as we went to pay for the pumpkin she picked she ended up wanting one of the tiny ones at the checkout stand. It is a fun memory. Halloween was great, we had a zebra and a giraffe, but the Ruth decided she had to be a princess right before we were leaving. We had a great time trunk or treating and Eric and I enjoyed the benefits for nights to follow.

Friday's Favorite

My very favorite is Eric. He is the most patient person, especially with irrational women (well one woman). And he can always, always make me laugh, even when I am so mad and the last thing I want to do is laugh. He is better with the girls than me, and the fun one. He keeps getting cuter and cuter, I think the pictures can attest to this. He is a great provider and I know we will be okay, because he will do anything he has to do to make sure we are taken care of. We are perfect together, I am the stubborn, not patient one, and he is the rational happy one. We compliment eachother well. Lastly, Eric will always give into what I want, but make me think it is really what he wants anyway. He is my very favorite! Thank you Eric

THE LSAT

To any wife who has a husband studying for the LSAT,
There will be many nights of falling asleep alone, many dinners reheated, many many days running into each other, but it will come to an end. And the end will make those many days worth it.
Eric got a 165 on the LSAT...hello 92nd percentile...hello my genius husband. Stick with it ladies, even though your guys will most likely not do as well as mine!
Bring on LAW SCHOOL.
Sincerely,
Devoted Wife

Last of Summer Catch Up

Ruthie and Dad had their first fishing adventure this summer. She caught the WHOPPER of the lake. She held the pole and reeled it in all by herself. Daddy was all too proud.
We spent many a day at the SWINGING at the park.
Ruth and Sadie have become little pals. Ruthie can make Sadie LAUGH louder than Eric or me.
Sadie celebrated her first BIRTHDAY this summer. The cake was a hit!
