Going Home!

After two days in the hospital we were all excited about heading home.

Comfortable and cozy at home!

Finally Here

What a day. Sadie finally made it here. I was scheduled to be induced at 7 am and ended up going into labor at 3am that morning. After watching Peter Pan, taking a hot bath and a few other last minute preps and contractions 2-3 min. apart we headed to the hospital. After an epidural, a nap, four hours, and pushing, she finally came. There is nothing more amazing then when they place that little girl up on your lap. I love being a mamma.

Very happy daddy!
We thought Sadie looked Samoin for the longest time. Her sister Ruth looked Albino. You could see her veins through who skin she was so white. Sadie was nice red and chubby!
The first diaper changed...performed by Eric, honestly I didn't change one diaper the whole time we were in the hospital, and I don't change too many at home. What a sweetheart.

The Best Baby Shower

Many Many Thanks to Chris Bartlett. She was such a doll and put together this wonderful shower. We had such a great time. The gifts were all more than I expected and I was thrilled with the outfits. Dressing Sadie has become such a treat!

We also played the funniest, most entertaining baby shower game I had ever played. Normally I don't find myself laughing this hard at a baby shower. Each diaper was filled with a different type of candy bar and you had to determine what type. This was so funny because I had changed so many diapers that resembled these candies. It was such a hit!

And here is the angel that put this all together. Thank you so much. I really loved it.

Cat Tales

We took a family trip to Cat Tales. Ruthie loved it and kept dancing and growling at the tigers.

I thought these two tigers named Romeo and Juliet were in love, I just kept telling Eric how cute they were and how great the Plan of Salvation is...then we read the sign that said they were brother and sister!
The one big tummy shot, but a pretty cute family photo.
Overall it was a really fun day.

Moving Day

We moved into our new home the second week of June and really have loved the extra space. Ruth is no longer sleeping in our front room, but rather in her own room. YAHOO! Ruthie really loved the packing and unpacking phase of moving.
Packing
Unpacking
Ruth found the pancake mix and started eating it by the handful! If you click on the photo you can see her puffy cheeks, her mouth was full of it.
We really love our new home and our so thankful for wonderful Dave and Tiff who took us in for a week while we were in transition.
